Shipping container placed on helical piers. These piers are drilled into the ground until they reach a depth to allow maximum strength (usually 15-25'). Each pier is rated to withstand up to 90,000 lbs. vertical down force.
We have designed a cement "foundation" for each end of the container. A full cement foundation is unnecessary since only the 4 outermost corners of the container touch the ground. These small cement footings are rebar reinforced, and can be placed under each end of the containers. The dimensions are 3' x 3' x 9'.
